“An Armed Society Is a Polite Society” 0
Quite by happenstance, I live near a golf course (I don’t golf–I point and laugh).
I have neighbors whose windows have been broken by errant shots. Several of my neighbors have, with full approval of the condo association, mounted thick sheets of plexiglass over particularly vulnerable windows.
Usually, the golfers just walk on by, but, in several cases, showing the integrity for which their scorecards are renowned, they have promised to pay for fixing the windows, then followed up by giving false names and addresses and, in one case, a fraudulent check.
Consquently, it is essential to show courtesy on the links.
