In the latest migration to a new virtual private server, some of the links to images in the earliest posts to this blog were broken. If you encounter one of these broken links, please let me know. I have backups and can restore the images.
There’s only one person who agrees with me on everything, and, as I’m not running for office, that person is not on the ballot.

This website does not track you.
It contains no private information. It does not drop persistent cookies, does not collect data other than incoming ip addresses and page views (the internet is a public place), and certainly does not collect and sell your information to others.
Some sites that I link to may try to track you, but that's between you and them, not you and me.
I do collect statistics, but I use a simple stand-alone Wordpress plugin, not third-party services such as Google Analitics over which I have no control.
Finally, this is website is a hobby. It's a hobby in which I am deeply invested, about which I care deeply, and which has enabled me to learn a lot about computers and computing, but it is still ultimately an avocation, not a vocation; it is certainly not a money-making enterprise (unless you click the "Donate" button--go ahead, you can be the first!).
I appreciate your visiting this site, and I desire not to violate your trust.

Did you watch his documentary? It’s interesting and he’s taken the show on the road. Nick Hanauer, who I’ve never thought highly of, is one of the stars of it, being a bored billionaire now remade as someone who writes or says something every three months to the effect that his brethren better shape up or the pitchforks will come for them. The most interesting part of the Reich doc was where he talks about his time in the Clinton administration. This is when inequality really started to get out of hand if you look at the data. While there was growth, the Clinton administration wasn’t really any good for the middle class, just like the last fifteen years, and eventually Reich realized that administration didn’t he consider any of the policies and things he recommended congruent with their own ideology and aims. So he left.
