Neighborly politeness:

Officers say a man, around 20 years old, was in his apartment holding a gun. He told police it accidentally went off.

The bullet traveled through the wall and grazed his neighbor, a woman in her 60s, in another unit.

The man went over to check on the woman and stayed with her until officers arrived.

One more time, “accidentally” is not a synonym of “negligently.”

Sacha Baron Cohen lambasted “social” media companies for allowing hate speech, saving his most vitriolic remarks for the Zuckerborg. Here’s a snippet from the news report:

In a speech at the Anti-Defamation League’s Never Is Now summit, Cohen spoke in his own voice as he skewered social media companies he called “a sewer of bigotry and vile conspiracy theories,” taking aim at the leaders of Google, YouTube and Twitter for not more actively removing hate speech from their platforms. But he reserved his most biting critique for Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg, whom he called “unaccountable” and compared to Julius Caesar during the Roman Empire.

The hunt for politeness never ends.

According to New York State Police Troop D Spokesman Jack Keller, Joshua Morgan, from Newport, Herkimer County, was part of a deer hunting party in a wooded area north of NYS Route 5S in the Town of Frankfort, when he was accidentally shot by another member of his hunting party. Morgan was pronounced dead at the scene.

Was it his antlers or his fluffy white tail?

Aside:

Please note, I am not against hunting. I grew up with hunters, and I do like a bit of venison.

I’m against stupid.

Musical NotesGuns and stupid, guns and stupid,
They go together like love and Cupid.
Let me tell you, brother,
You can’t have one without the other.
