The Game Is Afoot 0

Title: Donald J. Trump, Detective-in-Chief. Barr: Excuse me, Mr. President. Trump: Not now, schlumpy guy! I'm working on the biggest case of my great career. How can Democrats impeach a President-Detective who has solved so many mysteries? We must apply logic and examine the facts. For instance, there was no quid pro quo. It was a perfect call. I wanted nothing. NOTHING! I was only concerned with corruption. Barr: As your long history of ethical business practices should make abundantly clear. Trump: Furthermore--uhhhh, you know, that stuff with Hunter Bicen and also that Democrat server that some rich guy in Ukraine is hiding. I heard about it on Fox and Friends. Barr: Your mind is a veritable steel trap, sir. Trump: Remember, schlumpy guy, there was no collusion with Russian. Also, I won the greatest electoral college victory in history. It naturally follows that Ukraine must have tried to interfere in our election. Barr: If only the Democrats had your finely-tuned powers of observation, sir! Trump: And of course, the FBI was out to get me, which is why they kept their concerns completely secret and instead announced that they were investigating Crooked Hillary. Barr: Astounding, how you you even do it, sir? Trump. It's elementary, my dear schlumpy guy. When you eliminated the facts you don't like, the only remaining version of events remaining is one that you do. And therefore, your favorite president is completely innocent. Barr: I'll alert the media, sir.

The Bully’s Pulpit 0

At Psychology Today Blogs, Mitch Prinstein considers the implications of Donald Trump’s bullying of Greta Thunberg. A snippet (emphasis in the original):

. . . in the last few days, parents and educators report that they are needing to find a compelling way to answer children’s questions, such as:

“If the President can cyberbully why can’t I?”
