The San Francisco Chronicle’s Soleil Ho visited her family in rural Illinois and accompanied them to the local state fair and found herself surrounded with persons bearing Trump paraphernalia. She found the experience somewhat–er–disconcerting. Here’s a bit from her article (emphasis added):

Yet another oxymoronic “responsible gun owner” exposes a child to politeness.
Police believe the victim was preparing to leave and placed his gun on a nearby chair.
Shortly after, a two-year-old grabbed the gun.
“The child accidentally discharged the firearm, shooting the victim,” Chesterfield Police said.
Too many guns. Too much stupid.
