“An Armed Society Is a Polite Society” 2

Power-ful politeness, exercising their Second Amendment right to shoot at random stuff because they can.

The Bonneville Power Administration says people shooting at its high-voltage power line near Joint Base Lewis-McChord in the Tacoma, Washington, area have damaged power line insulators. The agency is offering a maximum $25,000 reward for tips leading to those involved.

Mayhap they be afeared of the dreaded mythical EMP.

This makes no sense to me. Even more than usual. It happens a few times a year. My brain doesn’t work in this country anymore. I need to get cancer and die.

When I was with Amtrak, we had a problem with persons “rocking” (throwing rocks at) trains. More than once a passenger was injured; in one case, an engineer was killed. (I’m sure the problem has not ended with my departure from the railroad.) Eventually, we installed Lexan windows and put rock screens over the windshields.

I doubt that persons who do such things think of the implications. They just want to throw or shoot at something. They then grow up to found Uber and Lyft.
