I went to all-white school under Jim Crow.*

*At least, it was all-white until I think it was the tenth grade when one I’m sure very carefully chosen black girl joined the senior class; the next year, a few more black students joined the junior and senior classes, and so on.

I gave up on television news, whether broadcast or cable, a long time ago. (Except if there’s a snow storm, and, as the climates they are a-changing, it’s been several years since we had even a little one of those.)
