A Tune for the Times 0

Mangy comments at the Youtube page:

The GOP Brain Trust may get a fresh infusion of stupid as Sarah Palin throws her empty head in the ring to run for Alaska’s one and only Congressional representative’s position. Her strong desire to serve herself while helping to bring about the Biblical “End Times” has convinced Sarah that the gravy train is passing and she needs to grab a seat while the grabbing’s good. Although she feels fairly certain she will be ‘raptured up’ before the primary, ‘just in case’, she believes a government gig will provide her with both easy access to donor cash and another star in her celestial crown.

Authoritarians on the Couch 0

At Psychology Today Blogs, Edward Hoffman looks into the minds of despots.

It is a worthwhile read, not only for what it says about the persons mentioned in his post (notably Hitler and Putin), but also for the light it sheds on our own homegrown wannabe despots and their dupes, symps, and fellow travelers.
