Rap Is Dead 2

And, frankly, as far as I am concerned, it’s not much of a loss.

How do I know rap is dead?

It’s in a commercial.

And, no, I won’t buy anything from Hillshire Farms. In spite of and because of the commercial. Heck, I wouldn’t have bought anything from them before the commercial.

Rap music is the music that the “C” was left off of.

Yo, Frank-unit, my main man! My favorite rapper is TobyMac. I have seen him once in concert and I will never forget it. One of the best shows I’ve ever been to.

But my favorite rap song of all time is They All Fall Down, by Grits. You can read the words at that link and hear the song on Google Video at http://tinyurl.com/2cfqs9. It really is good poetry, (like I would know good poetry,) and has a real message. If all rap was like this song it never would have gotten a bad name.
