Chris’s Pens 9

The pens that Chris made for us arrive today.

They are gorgeous.

Hand Crafted Pens

(Mine’s the fat one.)

If you want to learn more about his handcrafted pens, visit his website.

Now, I’m just waiting for the fountain pen. I expected it would be more challenging than a ballpoint, but it has turned out to be even more challenging than I anticipated. It’s caused him so much torment that the fun has gone out of watching him.

His head is going to be so swollen, his hairs are going to be even further apart than they already are!

Chris told me, "Opie, I know you aren’t old enough to remember, but to me it seems like only yesterday when all we had was fountain pens… and now I’ve forgotten how to make one!" I could tell he was frustrated.

Wow Chris, what a great pen.   I just wish I had a job I could use it at and show it off.  Okay, that’s wrong, Frank wishes I had a job where I could show it off.  Thanks again, you are a master at your art.

Gosh, when I went to school, there was this little bowl built into the desk.  You dipped your pen into it so you could write.
