Blue Cross Blue Shield of Delaware, through a third party, has rejected coverage in the last two months for diagnostic heart procedures for at least 11 patients whose doctors felt stress tests were medically necessary, The News Journal has learned.

    When someone dies because they couldn’t wait, or couldn’t afford to pay for a stress test themselves, it won’t be long before suit is filed.

    BCBS is just about at the bottom of the list. They would deny anything, just as soon as they found 1/2 a reason.

    The health insurance industry has become its own worst enemy.  Their PR folks must have no influence at all.
