Victoria Effin Jackson! Whose “There’s a Communist Living in the White House” and channel is labeled the Pasadena Tea Party. Well, there is a silver lining. She can now write “There’s a Communist Still Living in the White House.” I thought she was a little wrong, too. It was my impression the white Christian voters did get out in force. The red part of the map, monolithic in the south and big states with small pops backs it up. And it’s OK to gloat and talk smack when good has triumphed over evil. What were the statistics? White angry middle-aged America and their wealthy backers cast its lot 60-40 for Romney? But damning everyone non-white to hell for months blew up in their faces in the long lines at the polls. You could definitely see it at my place in the morning. There have never been lines, and even though CA was in the bag, there was a turnout I’d never seen and it wasn’t for the other guy. I’ll be looking for the white -guy- statistic, too.

Expect more of the same from the Republicans.

    Love is transitory.

    Hate is forever.

It contains no private information. It does not drop persistent cookies, does not collect data other than incoming ip addresses and page views (the internet is a public place), and certainly does not collect and sell your information to others.

Some sites that I link to may try to track you, but that's between you and them, not you and me.

I do collect statistics, but I use a simple stand-alone Wordpress plugin, not third-party services such as Google Analitics over which I have no control.

Finally, this is website is a hobby. It's a hobby in which I am deeply invested, about which I care deeply, and which has enabled me to learn a lot about computers and computing, but it is still ultimately an avocation, not a vocation; it is certainly not a money-making enterprise (unless you click the "Donate" button--go ahead, you can be the first!).
