Police were called around 6:50 p.m. Saturday to a residence on West Hudson Street for a report of a single gunshot. They determined Jeremiah Alford was shot by another person who believed that the gun was unloaded; police said the firing of the gun was an accidental discharge.

If you neglected to check whether the gun was loaded, it is at the least negligence, because you pointed a gun and someone and pulled the tri–oh, never mind. Just remember, every time something like this is called an accident, ammosexuals have a little thrill go down their legs.
