None Dare Call It Treason . . . 0

. . . even though it was.

I’ll say it, even if no one else is willing to.

To quote the Constitution of the United States of America:

Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.

The Congress shall have Power to declare the Punishment of Treason, but no Attainder of Treason shall work Corruption of Blood, or Forfeiture except during the Life of the Person attainted.

I think it is reasonable to argue that inciting a takeover of the Capitol Building with the intent of overturning the result of a legitimate election falls under the category of “levying War against them.”

Frankly, I do not understand why more persons haven’t figured this out.

And it was in front of more than two witnesses.
