Good Fences Make Good Neighbors . . . 0

. . . unless the fences are bamboo.

I once knew a fellow who bought a house with a stand of bamboo in the back yard. He grew to hate the stuff.

Frederick Neuman tries to figure out what goes on ladies’ rooms to give Donald Trump a case of the wobbling willies. A bit:

The last time I had a serious discussion about what went on in the ladies (girls’) room I was eight or nine years old.

Sitting Down on the Job 0

Words fail me.

A squabble between staff and management at a Sacramento DMV call center has broken out over a policy that deducts employees’ leave time or docks pay when a toilet trip takes more than seven minutes, according to grievances filed by SEIU Local 1000.

Through a Haze of Brotherhood 0

Like Crabby Appleton, the whole damn “Greek” system in U. S. colleges is rotten to the core.

Blindfolded and wearing a 30lb pack of sand on his back, Mike Deng did not readily submit to the blows of his would-be fraternity brothers on a December night in 2013. The “bad attitude” of this resistant pledge made him a target, the brothers later told police after hours of panic, hiding fraternity gear and trying to get their stories straight over how and why a 19-year-old was bludgeoned into a wheezing, non-responsive body as the result of a hazing ritual in the Pocono mountains.

. . . 37 members of Pi Delta Psi, as well as the fraternity itself, face criminal charges over the death of Chun “Mike” Deng, . . .

“He got the bros mad,” the police were told by Kenny Kwan . . . .

Fly the Fiendly Skies 0

You may not know it, but the Mile High Club has a welcome ceremony.

Travellers (sic) on the flight to Stockholm were left giggling after the pilot offered a special message to two passengers who had apparently been caught doing a lot more than French kissing during the journey.

He delivered his message in Swedish from the cockpit after the plane landed in Stockholm.

“He said something like ‘we’d like to send our best wishes of happy reproduction to the couple that ventured into the bathroom earlier on’,” a Swedish passenger who was on the Norwegian airline flight told The Local.
