In NRA Paradise, there is no place you’re safe.

Another responsible gun owner exercises his responsibility, this time at the King of Prussia Mall.

Officers later stated in a press conference that two men were observed over surveillance footage walking near the sushi kiosk when the shot was fired.

At this time, investigators believe a gun accidentally went off in one of the two men’s pockets.

As I have said before, “responsible gun owner” is an oxymoron, and “accidentally” and “negligently” are not synonyms.

Aside:

When I lived on the Main Line, many years ago, I would occasionally shop at King of Prussia Mall, but I could usually find what I wanted much closer to my home.

Signal your politeness.

According to a police department spokesperson, Dyer was behind the victims at a stop sign at the intersection of SE 8th Terrace and SE 12th Avenue around 10:30 am. The victims told police they honked at Dyer for not using a turn signal.

“One of the victims had actually said that the suspect had actually come blocked their vehicle in and cocked the gun back, pointing it at them,” said Officer Mercesed Phillips with the Cape Coral Police Department.

The mope is 73 years old. You’d hope that by now he’d have learned how to behave in public.

Let me tell you, brother,
You won’t find one without the other.

And, again, politeness becomes child’s play.

It’s the guns, folks. Too many guns.

The guns are the lowest common denominator in gun deaths.

We need to learn from Australia and regulate them.

Another case of neighborly politeness . . .

The initial information was that an occupant in one of the units had accidentally discharged a firearm and had shot their neighbor who was on the balcony,” police said in a news release.

. . . another reminder that “accidental” and “negligent” are not synonyms.

The report goes on to say that, at least as of this writing, the “responsible gun owner” in question is being held–er–responsible–likely methinks because it didn’t happen here in NRA Paradise.

Officers arrested a 61-year-old man at the scene. He is charged with weapons offenses including careless use of a firearm, criminal negligence and assault with a weapon.

An automobile passenger plays with his politeness.

They (police–ed.) say the crash occurred when the victim was driving South on 13th Street with two juveniles in the car. One of the two juveniles was handling a gun.

It was discharged, and struck the victim who was driving, wounding her. Immediate efforts were made to provide medical assistance, but the victim was pronounced dead at the accident scene.

A juvenile has been arrested after several horses were shot and one killed last week at a Dorchester County (Idaho–ed.) animal sanctuary, according to media reports.

No doubt his defense will be that he was just horsing around . . . .

Politeness again becomes child’s play.

And the headline at the link would again trick us into believing that “accident” and “negligence” are synonyms.

Yet another responsible gun owner exposes her family to politeness.

The report quotes one of the neighbors as saying

“My big message for parents out here: monitor your kids. Please monitor your kids,” said Sherrie Richardson.

As far as I am concerned, it would be better that the guns weren’t there in the first place than to have to “monitor the kids.”

Yet another “responsible gun owner” demonstrates why that phrase is an oxymoron.
