Be polite at the drive-through window.

We no longer have a civilized society (if, indeed, we ever did).

There’s something almost poetic about the politeness . . . .

According to police, around 9 p.m. there was a minor collision between a truck and a motorcycle near E. Platte Ave. and E. Boulder St.

The two pulled over into a parking lot, and at some point during that confrontation, the driver of the truck fired a shot and accidentally hit himself.

Politeness goes to the dogs.

Musical NotesGuns and stupid, guns and stupid.
They go together like love and Cupid.
Let me tell you brother,
You can’t have one without the other.

Just a little playful politeness . . . .

Witnesses told police that 22-year-old Zachary Shipley accidentally shot 22-year-old Christian Price in the head while Price played a video game. Shipley told police he removed the magazine from the gun thinking it wasn’t loaded but forgot to take out the round.

You won’t find one without the other.

The race to be the most polite continues.

We Americans do not have a civilized society.

Pack politeness for you trip..

The 9-year-old was in a vehicle driven by his father or step-father when he believed they were being followed by another car, according to Houston police. The man pulled out a gun as they were being followed, but were able to make it home without incident. Once they arrived home, the man attempted to holster the weapon when it discharged, officers said.

The boy was struck in the chest, police said. The man rushed the child to a nearby fire station. From there, medics transported the boy to a hospital where he was stable and was expected to survive, according to investigators.

Get out of Jail free cardThe story goes on to say that no charges will be preferred because this was an “accident.”

“Accident” is the gun nut incantation to make accountability go away.

Be polite to your progeny.

Houston police said the dad was in the process of putting his gun away when it accidentally went off and a bullet struck the child in the chest.

The boy was taken to the hospital by the Houston Fire Department where his injuries are serious, but he is stable, according to police.

One more time, “accidentally” and “negligently” are not the same thing.

Greet callers with politeness.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Hankins and Sharpf were friends and the shooting was a bad accident.

Officials say that Hankins came to Sharpf’s house that night and tried to knock on the side of the house to wake him up. Hankins did not announce himself before coming to the door and Sharpf thought an intruder was outside of the home.

While the rest of of the family was sleeping Sharpf went to the door and shot Hankins on the porch.

Politeness should be demonstrated to patrons of the country club.

On Wednesday, June 9, the Guilford County Sheriff’s Department reported that on Tuesday, June 8 at 6:53 p.m., the department got a report that a man had been wounded while dining at Sedgefield Country Club at 3201 Forsyth Dr. in Greensboro.

According to the press release, someone from Sedgefield Country Club reported that the “victim was dining outside on the patio when a stray bullet struck him in the head.”

In this case, the victim suffered only a superficial injury, but the story also states that, in the jurisdiction in question, the number of shootings of all types has skyrocketed. Of course, this could in no way be related to the number of guns in circulation or the number of persons who may be packing.

Also, pigs, wings.

These clowns can’t handle politeness.

Officer Charley Davidson told The Eagle that three adults were handling a gun when it discharged, hitting the 12-year-old girl in an arm and the torso area. She was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive.

Expose your progeny to politeness.

The toddler had found a gun legally owned by his father in a TV stand and accidentally shot himself in the head, according to Joliet police.

(snip)

Police said the shooting was an accident, but the case remains under investigation and no charges have been filed.

Again, “accident” and “negligence” are not the same thing.
