Michael in Norfolk points out a fact that seems to have disappeared from dis coarse discourse. A snippet:

. . . the truth is that while Trump managed to win the popular vote, his margin of victory was very narrow and there was no landslide and there clearly is no mandate.

Mevertheless, methinks Trump will act as if the land slid and, in so doing, do even greater harm than he has already done to this “noble experiment.”

I do not sleep well these days.
