The man was a passenger in a vehicle traveling on Gadsden Highway. The driver of the vehicle pulled over in the Nationwide Insurance parking lot at the corner of Gadsden Highway and Rock Creek Circle and called 911.

Police said their investigation determined the children had been playing with a loaded gun when it accidentally discharged, killing one and wounding the other.
Thus passeth another day in NRA Paradise.

Since the recent mass shooting in my town, there has been a spate of letters about guns in my local rag, such as, for example.

The woman missed and the bullet ricocheted across the water and struck a 28-year-old man who was fishing.
By golly, she gots herself a varmint.

Scatter politeness at your house of worship.
Court records show a small boy found Dallas’ gun under the bleachers in the gym at World Overcomers Church and picked it up, setting it off.
No one was hurt.
Investigators say Dallas also didn’t have a gun permit.
