There’s nothing quite like neighborly politeness.

And, as has so often been demonstrated, a polite society is a clean society.

Investigators determined the man and his brother were sitting at a table in a common kitchen area disassembling and reassembling firearms. During the process, the 25-year-old’s weapon discharged. The bullet struck his hand before hitting his wife in the upper torso.

Both victims were taken to a local hospital. The woman died at the hospital and her husband was treated for the wound to his hand.

One more time, in gun nut world, “clean” is a synonym for “play with,” and “responsible gun owner” is an oxymoron.

You’ve heard of “responsible gun owners.” Meet their mentor.

And, again, one of those “responsible gun owners” feels justified in ejecting the contents of his portable phallus at another driver on the nation’s highways.

Investigators say three young children had been sitting in a vehicle in the driveway while a parent briefly went back inside the home. During that time, a four-year-old found a loaded gun in the center console. The gun discharged, hitting the two-year-old.

One more time, “responsible gun owner” is an oxymoron.

Yet another “responsible gun owner” feels compelled to expose his portable phallus to a fellow driver.

She found politeness in a parking lot.

We are a broken society dying of lead poisoning.

Shoot first.

Find out you shot your friend later.

And, as we know, politeness is a family value.

Once again, politeness becomes child’s play.

Yet another “responsible gun owner” exposes a portable phallus to a child.

Investigators said about seven adults, both residents and visitors, were in the living room when the shooting occurred. Two young boys were in a bedroom where the gun had been left out. Adults told investigators they heard a gunshot and rushed to find the 2-year-old injured and the 4-year-old holding the weapon.

So many guns. So much stupid.

Despite life-saving measures, the 5-year-old child died at the scene. The 8-year-old child was flown to a hospital, where he is in critical condition.

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation said preliminary information indicates that a young child picked up a loaded, unsecured shotgun and fired it, shooting the two children.

One more time, “responsible gun owner” is an oxymoron.

Yet another “responsible gun owner” who didn’t know the gun was loaded.

A five-year-old boy underwent surgery after being accidentally shot in the chest by an AR-15-style rifle while his father was cleaning his guns, Bay Area officials said Monday.

Investigators learned that while cleaning his guns, the father retrieved his rifle from a gun case and accidentally pulled the trigger, police said. The father told investigators that he thought the rifle was empty.
