Writing at the Jersey Journal, Joan Quigley expresses being puzzled at the malevolcnce of certain (not Democratic, by the way) elected officials. A snippet:
I know there are crazies in every large group, so I can understand some members of Congress actually helped the insurrectionists on January 6th and hoped they’d take over government. I can even accept that somehow a Marjorie Taylor Greene slipped in.
But I really can’t understand how so many ordinary members of Congress brag about fostering chaos and stagnation. They brazenly promised their constituents to go to Washington and work to make the world a better place, while secretly pledging to do all they could to obstruct progress, refuse to help, and to make people miserable.
