They said Hannah Kelley’s fiance, Dustin Bueller, was in a church closet with friend John Penu as Moises Zambrana, 48, showed them his Ruger 9mm. Bueller, who turns 21 this month, had expressed interest in buying a weapon for his birthday, according to sheriff’s officials.

Zambrana had removed the gun’s magazine, but forgot there was a round still in the chamber. The gun went off and a bullet tore through a wall into the next room, where it hit Kelley in the head.

The young lady died yesterday.

Thus endeth today’s lesson on how those who packeth heat shall inherit the earth.

Politeness with pets:

A SPAT between unidentified neighbors over dog feces turned violent in Tacony yesterday afternoon, and in the end a 47-year-old father lay dying of several gunshot wounds on a rowhouse porch.

His neighbor, a 27-year-old man who police said is the owner of the Chihuahua and the German shepherd involved, was arrested at the scene, on Torresdale Avenue near Hellerman Street.

At the time of his arrest, he was carrying a holstered 9mm semiautomatic pistol that police believe was the weapon used in the slaying, Chief Inspector Scott Small said.

More persons packing more heat produces more politeness.

Teach your children that politeness is non-negotiable.

A 16-year old died Sunday afternoon after he was shot several times by his stepfather with a 12-gauge shotgun in their Milton (Georgia–ed.) townhouse, Milton police said.

The reason for the etiquette lesson is not yet known.

Impoliteness breeds politeness:

A spilled drink may have led to four people, including two innocent bystanders, being shot early Saturday at a Stone Mountain (Georgia–ed.) night club, police said.

A 65-year-old lawyer was arrested Wednesday for carrying a loaded handgun aboard an American Airlines jet at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.

Judith Kenney was released later Wednesday on her own recognizance, said her attorney, Dallas lawyer David Finn.

Kenney carries a handgun for protection but had forgotten that it was in a computer bag she carried on board the plane, he said. She has no criminal history, he said.

I may be a cynical old grouch, but it seems to me that anyone who forgets he or she is packing heat can’t be trusted to carry a rod.

Teaching politeness to teens:

So when a carload of teenagers arrived to beat up his stepsons Tuesday night in a feud that had simmered since the summer, Barreto was ready.

The Toyota Corolla, seven gangly boys squished inside, rolled to the curb outside Barreto’s house on Luzerne Street near Castor Avenue in Juniata Park about 10:30 p.m. Within seconds, Barreto burst out the front door.

The young driver sped around the corner and approached Barreto’s house from the rear.

But this time, Barreto didn’t let them get away. He began blasting into the sedan, firing 10 to 12 times, homicide Capt. James Clark said.

Two of them will never be rude again.

Also, teenagers being polite:

Carolyn “Cee-Cee” Walker was lying on the ground, a bullet wound in her forehead. The 12-year-old’s pulse was faint, and her chest no longer rose and fell, Buksha said.

Beside her, a 13-year-old boy – whom police would take into custody later Tuesday and charge with manslaughter – was kneeling, refusing to leave as Buksha told the kids to get to the other side of the street.

Always be polite to the help at the coffee shop.

A teenage girl took her Christmas present to Starbucks with her and when she dropped her purse that gift fired a bullet.

The 17-year-old had received the gift, a gun, from her dad for Christmas. He encouraged her to carry it so she’d be safe.

The co-founder of Tea Party Patriots was captured on video jumping a fence and fleeing into Queens’ “Boulevard of Death” after he was arraigned for illegally possessing a handgun at New York’s LaGuardia Airport.

Mark Meckler was charged Thursday with criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, a Class C felony, for traveling with his Glock handgun and 19 cartridges without a New York permit.

Video of Mr. Meckler beating feet at the link. No word on whether he was shouting “Live free or die” as he disappeared into the darkness.
