Show your politeness to the nice TSA agent.

A Virginia Beach man was caught trying to pass a loaded gun through security at Norfolk International Airport on Thursday.

Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officers caught the man with a 9mm handgun loaded with seven bullets, including one in the chamber, at one of the airport security checkpoints on August 5.

The story goes on to say that it was the third instance of someone’s trying to pack heat in the fiendly skies in a week.

And yet another child is sacrificed on the NRA’s altar . . . .

“It was an accident,” Supt. David Brown said during a community walk on the West Side. “A visiting relative brought a gun to visit inside the home. It was in a bag. One of the young kids were playing with the guns and accidentally fired the gun, killing a small child.”

A polite society is, as we know, a clean society.

Afterthought:

If you have never cleaned a firearm, know that it is a lengthy and arduous process when done correctly. It is also an extremely annoying task (again, when done correctly). Back when I had a rifle, I cleaned it when necessary, but I certainly did not enjoy the task.

I have aforetimes expressed my suspicion that, in the gun nut community, “cleaning” is a synonym for “fondling.” I also suspect that it serves as a synonym for many other terms which are in no way related to cleanliness.

Another parent shows politeness to a descendant.

No doubt the NRA will argue that, had the child been armed, he or she could have mounted a defense.

Practice random acts of politeness.

She was watching fireworks with her family in the front yard of a friend’s house when suddenly, she felt a sharp pain and saw red.

“It felt like somebody had smashed a hammer on my head basically — after I saw the blood on my hand, it started coming down on my face… It was scary,” Martinez said.

At first, she thought a rock hit her until her friend discovered a small golden bullet on the ground. Martinez was in shock.

Show your politeness to others.

The man can be seen on surveillance video showing his gun to customers at O’Riley’s Uptown Tavern in Pensacola before making a quick motion as if putting it into a pretend holster below his shoulder. When he did, the gun discharged and a bullet hit the man’s torso, according to the Pensacola News Journal.

Ammosexual molestation:

Interviewed by TV outside Nationals Park after gunfire panicked the crowd last Saturday, an 8-year-old girl said, “It was my second shooting … I always am expecting something to happen.” The America we’re leaving our children.

Self-politeness is the politest kind.

According to the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, the shooting occurred on Nine Mile Ridge. The woman allegedly was sitting outside in a chair with a .22 caliber, semi-automatic pistol in her lap.

The victim told authorities as she went to stand up, she dropped the weapon and attempted to grab it. The gun discharged at this point and the bullet hit the woman in the upper thigh and passed through her leg.

It seems that politeness is for the birds.

Earlier this week, two men were formally indicted for their alleged role in the shooting death of a golden eagle in Idaho.

Considered sacred by many Native American tribes, the golden eagle is protected by a trio of federal laws: the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act, the Migratory Bird Treaty Act, and the Lacey Act, according to the United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS).

Yet another gun left unattended,
Yet another life prematurely ended.

The sheriff said the (three-year-old–ed.) child’s parents were going door-to-door for a revival and briefly left their child in the vehicle. He said the child found the gun in the glove department of the vehicle, and the gun discharged.

And yet another day in NRA Paradise.

Be polite to other drivers.

On July 2, a truck driver was traveling along I-55 near the Memphis bridge when he passed a Chevrolet Malibu that was parked on the interstate. As he was passing, the suspect leaned out of his vehicle and fired three or four shots at the truck before speeding away.

The truck driver was not hurt, but the incident damaged the vehicle, the Crittenden County Sheriff’s Office said. The shooting was reported when the driver reached Tennessee, but Arkansas authorities say they just learned of the crime after the trucking company downloaded the video.

This is the second time an incident like this has been reported in the last two months.

Politeness is a family value.

Police say a 3-year-old girl accidentally shot her father while he was sleeping in their south Wichita mobile home on Wednesday.

Officers responded at around 7 p.m. to the 2300 block of East MacArthur and located the 30-year-old man who had a gunshot wound to his leg. The girl’s hand was also injured. Their injuries were not life-threatening.

Thus passeth another day in the NRA’s Garden of Bleedin’.
