Stray Thought 2

I sure hope 40 cheese straws constitutes a balanced supper.

(Aside: The recipe is wussified. If you want to try it, remember to quadruple the cayenne and add some Frank’s Red Hot, then sprinkle the straws with cayenne before they go in the oven. Oh, yeah, and use a metal cookie press with the squiggly mold. A plastic cookie press won’t take the strain.)

Hmmm. I know what all that sodium does to MY blood pressure. I wonder what it does to yours?

    Wussified? This is a word?

Well, since I can’t make cookies to save my life, I don’t have a cookie press, therefore, I don’t think I would be doing this. But, along the same spice lines, have you tried 5 Alarm Chili? You would like it, I think.

They aren’t cookies. They’re more like crackers. You can just roll them out if you want.

To answer your other question, I used to order my Indian food “Indian hot.”

Some sites that I link to may try to track you, but that's between you and them, not you and me.

I do collect statistics, but I use a simple stand-alone Wordpress plugin, not third-party services such as Google Analitics over which I have no control.

Finally, this is website is a hobby. It's a hobby in which I am deeply invested, about which I care deeply, and which has enabled me to learn a lot about computers and computing, but it is still ultimately an avocation, not a vocation; it is certainly not a money-making enterprise (unless you click the "Donate" button--go ahead, you can be the first!).
