Two Different Worlds 2

The world of those who get it and that of those who do not. From Cleveland dot com.

Someone who can look at Trayvon Martin’s death and not see him as a martyr to white racism lives in a different world from me.

Results of a Washington Post/ABC poll showing major differences in the reaction to the Zimmerman verdict by race.

Two countries, a chasm between the two. After WWII we did de-Nazification and had MacArthur stamp out the-emperor-is-god and warlord-ism. It was necessary and has served the world pretty good, made very successful civilized nations. Not doable here, obviously, if you get my drift. The two countries, immiscible, contaminates every aspect of American life.

As I have said, slavery is America’s original sin.

When the writer in the Bible wrote that (I’m paraphrasing) the sin would contaminate not one, but seven times seven generations, that was not prophecy.

    That was sociology.

    We cannot expunge our past.

We cannot even atone for it, for our fellow citizens will not allow it.

Some sites that I link to may try to track you, but that's between you and them, not you and me.

I do collect statistics, but I use a simple stand-alone Wordpress plugin, not third-party services such as Google Analitics over which I have no control.

Finally, this is website is a hobby. It's a hobby in which I am deeply invested, about which I care deeply, and which has enabled me to learn a lot about computers and computing, but it is still ultimately an avocation, not a vocation; it is certainly not a money-making enterprise (unless you click the "Donate" button--go ahead, you can be the first!).

I appreciate your visiting this site, and I desire not to violate your trust.
