In his “Memorandum of Justification†for the waiver, Bush cited his Nov. 26 “Declaration of Principles for a Long-Term Relationship of Cooperation and Friendship†between Iraq and the United States. This agreement has been aggressively opposed by both Republicans and Democrats in Congress as not only unprecedented, but also potentially unconstitutional because it was enacted without the agreement of the legislation branch.
So little Bushie Boy had a temper tantrum because the elected representatives of the people of the United States of America incongruously assembled passed a law he didn’t like.
So he’s just going to ignore the law.
Again.
So take that, people of the United States of America!

Be careful what you wish for. Bush will be gone in less than a year and you’ll have Bill and Hillary to save the Republic.

I’m still holding out hope for Obama. At first I couldn’t understand what the difference between Hillary and Obama would be, but some comments Gerald Ford made about the Clintons in the audiobook I’m listening to right now woke me up.

All you have to do is listen to Bill on the campaign trail. It was the Clintons (mainly Bill) who played the race card in the Democratic primary (not some white conservative Republican). Even some prominent fellow Dems said he went too far. Teddy Kennedy and John Kerry were in that group.
Clinton is just warming up for his new role as Attack-Dog-First-Man. Four more years of blaming the “…vast right-wing conspiracy.”
