There’s only one person who agrees with me on everything, and, as I’m not running for office, that person is not on the ballot.
With a tip to Opie.

Man. Bill is a jerk.

Yeah, well, but he’s a rich jerk.
Hate pays.

Ok, I saw it. If you look past the bad behavior ON BOTH PARTS, they each have a valid point. Bill wants something done about illegal immigration. Geraldo wants something done about drunk drivers.
Both are things that need work. A lot of it. (Yeah, sad to say, but hate does pay.)

I’ve never seen O’Reilly lose it like that on air before, but Geraldo has always been pretty hot tempered. I remember a couple of nights after the Bush/Gore election, he had Jesse Jackson and some other guy on his show, (I think he was on CNBC in those days,) and Jesse made some comment about the butterfly ballot being a Republican plot. The other guy, whose identity I’ve forgotten, immediately pointed out that the butterfly ballot was designed by a Democrat, and Geraldo went ballistic and started yelling about racism and all kinds of stuff. It was really kind of strange.
Illegal immigration continues to be one of the most inscrutable issues of my time. I still cannot for the life of me reiterate the full position of those who are for it. It’s like 150 million Americans have this silent mutual pact agreeing that there are certain basic questions about their position they will never answer. In that sense, I can understand O’Reilly’s frustration.
