In the latest migration to a new virtual private server, some of the links to images in the earliest posts to this blog were broken. If you encounter one of these broken links, please let me know. I have backups and can restore the images.
There’s only one person who agrees with me on everything, and, as I’m not running for office, that person is not on the ballot.

Why does the buckle look like a Russian hammer & sickle?

According to Frank, it’s a Russian Army belt buckle. I guess you could call it an “artifact” from Russia’s days fighting in Afghanistan. I’m sure he will provide additional details.

I am so proud of myself! When I saw it last night, I had a long list of smart, um, aleck comments I was tempted to make, but it was Christmas, and I decided to be nice.

“One thing that puzzles me. Communism is dead, Dead, DEAD! Yet, wingnuts still think that calling someone a “Commie†is some kind of viable insult.
How come?”
Well first of all, to eliminate any confusion, they aren’t the same wingnuts as the ones who think “racist” is a viable insult for someone they don’t even know, but at the same time don’t want to see any cars built by yellow-skinned people parked in their union headquarters parking lot. Those are different wingnuts.
And second of all… I forgot second of all.
