Just saw a Comcast commercial about the upcoming digital switch directed to persons using over-the-air television broadcast channels.
On a cable network.

Yeah, we see them here too.
I wonder if they are on the regular channels, without the cable? I’ve seen commercials for new customers for $10.00 a month for the bare bones basic. To keep from having to buy a converter.

I wouldn’t know.
I seldom watch regular channels.
Seems a waste of bandwidth to stick them in channels that the target audience cannot see.
Since Comcast is the provider, I would guess–don’t know–that they have a right to insert some of their own advertising into the stream at no extra charge, but, even so, why should they subject themselves to unnecessary derision and catcalls?

I mean ‘regular’ channels that are received through an antenna or something.
