I’m not going to try to improve on this on how the same story gets spun in opposite ways.
Words matter. Words can hide or conceal reveal the truth.
Steve and I were talking about drive-by posts, like this one, last night. My two or three three or four regular readers (I got a new statistics plugin that actually presents information informatively) know I do a lot of them.
In the course of the conversation, he said, “Yeah, I notice you’ve done that to me, just last week.”
I don’t do it to up my number of posts. This blog is a hobby, not a competition.
I do it when I’ve read something I think is worth, whether for news-worthiness, for humor, or for commentary, and I don’t have any sarcasm commentary to add to it.
