It’s Comcastic. Well, Not So Much. 4

Not just me.

Judging from the error messages that their POP3 server has been throwing, they’ve suffered a major hardware failure and their IT gnomes are trying to pick up the pieces.

It is a good day not work in Comcast IT. I’m sure the adrenaline level is out the roof.

Slightly later:

It appears to working again.

Big time.  Their server was throwing errors I’ve never heard of before.

Their IT gnomes earned their pay today.

As little trouble as we experience, it’s about time they earn it. But, we have the business service. It seems to be tended to, or the problems anyway, a bit faster. I would have called yesterday, but I thought it was Outlook giving me grief again.

Well, quicker service is part of what the busines package should bring you.  I’ve priced it.  It starts at four times what I pay for cable internet.

And I was able to fall back on Facebook and my AIM account for the messages that could not wait.
