I kinda feel sorry for the teachers. To read all the homework and papers filled by such whip-smart young minds…

I would be distressed to see a teacher accept a Wikipedia cite in a scholarly work. It is truly a great quick-reference for general use, and the Wikipedia Gnomes have a pretty good track record of correcting fraudulent entries within a couple of hours, but, even so, the Brittanica it’s not.
Two minutes of googling is not research.
