Hannah Montana. Which I occasionally enjoyed watching many years ago. At the time, she made a concert movie that was gigantic. Everything followed from there.

Disney child stars do not seem to fair well, do they, at least, not since Annette?

It’s up and down. I don’t know the entire Disney line-up. Demi Lovato was poised to break big and although she had some success, eventually fizzled. The Jonas Brothers became huge and stayed that way for a reasonable amount of time, as long as other acts usually get.

I can’t shake the feeling that Disney has turned into a factory that destroys its raw materials.
Walt may have been a jerk, but he was nowhere nearly so predatory as any corporation can be.
