Ryan does seem to believe in comforting the comfortable and discomforting the uncomfortable. It’s impossible to be more Republican than that.

I rather agree. He’s on my short list of “Who would I like to see in a no-win situation,” along with the Republican Ricks (Rick Scott, Rick Snyder) and a few others.
