I see a white man named James Holmes taken alive after killing 12 and injuring 70 in a movie theater shooting. I see a white man named Dylann Roof kill nine black parishioners in a church, get arrested by police without incident, and then get a trip to Burger King courtesy of police officers who thought he might be hungry.
The racial disparities in our law enforcement system are many. They are obvious. They are wrong.

The woman said she went to the front yard where her husband had been playing with their two sons.
Initially the man did not think he had been shot, the reports says, but he soon noticed blood on his pants and felt pain in his leg.
When deputies interviewed the man at the hospital he said he and his sons had been running races around their house while he was wearing a pistol with a new holster. According to the report, the man said he clipped the edge of a camper parked in his yard as he ran by, causing the gun discharge.

I received a report that comments are still broken. I visited the site from a VM of Devuan without logging in and was able to post a comment as a visitor. I have also received a spam comment, which was quarantined by Akismet, as well it should have been. The matter is still under investigation.

I received a comment from a visitor today, 2018-03-29. I am concluding that comments are working again. Tomorrow I shall “unstick” this post and it shall no longer be at the top of the page. If you still have difficulties posting comments, try clearing your cache.
