Long-time Alabama Republican John Meredith (who happens to be not white) has had enough. Here’s a bit from his article at AL.com:

The boldest Republican lie is that the party respects the rule of law. They do not, and examples of their contempt for the rule of law can easily be seen from Trump’s bogus Senate trial, to POTUS’ unconstitutional redirecting of congressionally mandated spending, to the illegal detention of asylum seekers, to state governments reopening despite not meeting any of the criteria the federal government requires to do so, to Alabama sheriffs boldly declaring their intent not to enforce some or all of Governor Ivey’s most recent mandates. And don’t get me started on the miscarriage of justice surrounding the dropping of charges by DOJ of two-time self-admitted perjurer Michael Flynn. I’m not teasing out the merits on that one either.

Some sites that I link to may try to track you, but that's between you and them, not you and me.

I do collect statistics, but I use a simple stand-alone Wordpress plugin, not third-party services such as Google Analitics over which I have no control.

Finally, this is website is a hobby. It's a hobby in which I am deeply invested, about which I care deeply, and which has enabled me to learn a lot about computers and computing, but it is still ultimately an avocation, not a vocation; it is certainly not a money-making enterprise (unless you click the "Donate" button--go ahead, you can be the first!).
