In the latest migration to a new virtual private server, some of the links to images in the earliest posts to this blog were broken. If you encounter one of these broken links, please let me know. I have backups and can restore the images.
There’s only one person who agrees with me on everything, and, as I’m not running for office, that person is not on the ballot.

This website does not track you.
It contains no private information. It does not drop persistent cookies, does not collect data other than incoming ip addresses and page views (the internet is a public place), and certainly does not collect and sell your information to others.
Some sites that I link to may try to track you, but that's between you and them, not you and me.
I do collect statistics, but I use a simple stand-alone Wordpress plugin, not third-party services such as Google Analitics over which I have no control.
Finally, this is website is a hobby. It's a hobby in which I am deeply invested, about which I care deeply, and which has enabled me to learn a lot about computers and computing, but it is still ultimately an avocation, not a vocation; it is certainly not a money-making enterprise (unless you click the "Donate" button--go ahead, you can be the first!).
I appreciate your visiting this site, and I desire not to violate your trust.

Charges of hypocrisy make Republicans laugh. They get off on it. What would be great is if our stenographer class of Corporate journalists didn’t treat disingenuous bad faith GOP bs as legitimate.

I’m not sure I agree with this completely. As is the case with many hypocrites I have known, I think many of them rationalize away the hypocrisy and don’t see it at all. Even the baddest people in the world are able to convince themselves that, for whatever reason, what they do is somehow justified.
But that’s just me.

A good point Frank. I guess it is a function of self-awareness. I believe the Mitch McConnell and Gym Jordan of the world know their despicable liars but love being feted whereas the Major Traitor Greene and Lauren Boebert’s and Mad Nazi Cawthorn types are convinced they are Patriots and Heros.

Well said. Far too many of our home-grown subversives convince themselves that they are patriots and that their subversion is somehow patriotic. Their ignorance is really quite appalling.
Puppet masters and their puppets. They make a dangerous team.
Aside: I see you are a fellow reader of Raymond Chandler . . . .
