Happy Belated Birthday to Me 9
Just got back from celebrating at Tangier. Second Son came down from Joisey to join us.
Drinking conservatively is not an option.
The highlight, though, was meeting another Slackware devote.

In the latest migration to a new virtual private server, some of the links to images in the earliest posts to this blog were broken. If you encounter one of these broken links, please let me know. I have backups and can restore the images.
There’s only one person who agrees with me on everything, and, as I’m not running for office, that person is not on the ballot.

This website does not track you.
It contains no private information. It does not drop persistent cookies, does not collect data other than incoming ip addresses and page views (the internet is a public place), and certainly does not collect and sell your information to others.
Some sites that I link to may try to track you, but that's between you and them, not you and me.
I do collect statistics, but I use a simple stand-alone Wordpress plugin, not third-party services such as Google Analitics over which I have no control.
Finally, this is website is a hobby. It's a hobby in which I am deeply invested, about which I care deeply, and which has enabled me to learn a lot about computers and computing, but it is still ultimately an avocation, not a vocation; it is certainly not a money-making enterprise (unless you click the "Donate" button--go ahead, you can be the first!).
I appreciate your visiting this site, and I desire not to violate your trust.

There seems to be a certain number missing from this post.

Yeah. Like how many Malibu Baybreeze’s Frank (elder) had.
(Runs. FAST.)

I’d be more interested in seeing a certain TRUTHFUL number, myself. What’s a Malibu Baybreeze?

“What’s a Malibu Baybreeze?”
Lol.

He just turned 30, I know, he looks good for having a 18 year old kid.
Malibu Bay Breeze:
1 1/2 oz Malibu rum
2 oz Cranberry juice
2 oz Pineapple juice
Mix ingredients and serve over ice.
Happy Birthday, dad.

Uh….nvm.

30? I think not, given the fact that he had a draft number for Vietnam.
Anyway, the drink sounds less painful than a Long Island Iced Tea, which if I’m going to have a drink, that’s it.

Jeez, Karen, only serious drinkers drink Long Island iced tea.
I bow to your expertise.
And, Phillybits, I NEVER drink anything with fruit juice in it. It might have a vitamin.
I stick to Scotch and, when I’m poor, Canadian.
To quote a friend of mine of Scottish heritage, “If God hae wanted there to be water in it, he’d hae put water in it.”
Thanks for the good wishes.
And Opie, like Heinz, 57.
(Speaking of which, did you know I used to live three blocks from where Senator Heinz’s plane went down at Lower Merion Elementary? He was a good man.)
(aside) Opie, there’s a Drinking Liberally in your hometown. Regular iced teas are allowed also.

Naw, no expertise. The last time I had one, we stayed here..http://www.brownpalace.com/. It was when the Pacers & Pistons had that brawl on the court & in the stands.
Hope the day was nice for you, though.
