Is Bush better than Kim Jong Il?
Karen explores the question.
I have one thought:
We won’t know until we see whether Bush goes peacefully at the end of his term.

In the latest migration to a new virtual private server, some of the links to images in the earliest posts to this blog were broken. If you encounter one of these broken links, please let me know. I have backups and can restore the images.
There’s only one person who agrees with me on everything, and, as I’m not running for office, that person is not on the ballot.

This website does not track you.
It contains no private information. It does not drop persistent cookies, does not collect data other than incoming ip addresses and page views (the internet is a public place), and certainly does not collect and sell your information to others.
Some sites that I link to may try to track you, but that's between you and them, not you and me.
I do collect statistics, but I use a simple stand-alone Wordpress plugin, not third-party services such as Google Analitics over which I have no control.
Finally, this is website is a hobby. It's a hobby in which I am deeply invested, about which I care deeply, and which has enabled me to learn a lot about computers and computing, but it is still ultimately an avocation, not a vocation; it is certainly not a money-making enterprise (unless you click the "Donate" button--go ahead, you can be the first!).
I appreciate your visiting this site, and I desire not to violate your trust.

Can Karen get the Plumbers out the door first? It’s her Birthday frank! hehe

That’s the key difference. Jongs have had 40-50 years of a head start on Bush. Give him & his ilk that extended period of time & see the result.

No, it’s not the key difference. The key difference is the core morality. George W. Bush would not force school children to watch public executions of criminals by firing squad like Kim Jong Il does. You may not like the war he started, you may not like the envelope he has pushed in terms of presidential powers, you may not like his outspoken Christianity, but if you can look at his family background and his career and conclude that he would purposely starve several million of his own citizens, you have extended your credibility beyond where I can take your opinions seriously anymore.
