Aside:
Early my career, I lived in Northern Virginia and worked in downtown D. C. The commute was not pleasant (I’m sure it’s much worse now), but being able to visit the Smithsonian on a regular basis was one of the great pleasures of living in the D. C. area.
To see Donald Trump attempt to spread his taint over the Smithsonian disgusts me beyond words.
