In the latest migration to a new virtual private server, some of the links to images in the earliest posts to this blog were broken. If you encounter one of these broken links, please let me know. I have backups and can restore the images.
There’s only one person who agrees with me on everything, and, as I’m not running for office, that person is not on the ballot.

For a moment I thought that was a Funny or Die video. But you can’t spoof the Tea Party, humor doesn’t work when the bizarre beliefs are so common. You should get a copy of “Pity the Billionaire.” I describe it a bit in the Tea Party Funk Machine post. If you look at the video, you’ll see more weirdness. a Tea Party protest with a young woman holding a sign that says “Dr. King was a Republican!” — following the ridiculous belief held by the group that they’re the protesting progeny of MLK, and — the equally nuts spectacle of someone marching with a placard that reads, “I <heart> capitalism!” You shake your head and laugh a bit then realize Tea Party politics have won for most of the Obama administration, they could easily take the country down with their annihilating world view, and you get a cold feeling.
