Fleabags 2

They were cats.

Now they are fleabags.

They have been on Frontline, but it’s not working.

The vet told us that the possibility that Frontline-resistent fleas may have evolved is currently being researched, as Frontline is over 20 years old.

But evolution can’t happen, can it?

Really, because creationism!

Interesting. Have you gone to Advantage? These are still working out here. Annoying. I guess you could go back to Luster Bath which was troublesome because it used to really freak out the cat I had to use it on a long time ago.

The vet prescribed something called Comfortis, which is a pill that does a slow-release over a month, which seems to have worked.  He also explained the life cycle of the flea at great leeeeennnnngth.  He’s a really nice guy, but does like to talk.

He also (ugh) recommended vacuuming the house every three days or so for the next few weeks.  Damned vacuum really vacuums good, but doesn’t like to be told where to steer and weighs a ton over 20 pounds and we have stairs.  Gripe gripe gripe.
