“An Armed Society Is a Polite Society” 2

Be polite to your mother.

Nayback’s daughter, Aleeah Wayne, 27, told investigators she was shooting steel targets with a 9 mm handgun when “a bullet ricocheted” off and struck her mother, Hilldsale Sheriff Stan Burchardt said.

Nayback had been walking down the road at the time of the incident, while the steel targets were placed on the ground in the woods, according to the release.

Steel targets. Words fail me.

Here is a statement from the one presidential candidate who actively supports the legalization of medical marijuana nationwide! “Patients receiving cannabinoids [smoked marijuana and marijuana pills] had improved immune function compared with those receiving placebo. They also gained about 4 pounds more on average than those patients receiving placebo.” You can read more and support her campaign on her site http://denisebedio.com/marijuana. Normally, I would have removed this comment as spam, as it has nothing to do with the post on which it claims to be commenting.

I’m leaving it up. I visited the website and was immediately turned off. It has my experience, validated repeatedly, that any one promoting a candidate as a “Real American” is suspect. Historically, those who call themselves “Real Americans” behave in most a unAmerican manner.

The problem in this country isn’t that “the system” has failed us. It is that one political party has subverted and perverted the system for the benefit of the very rich with tactics of bigotry, hatred, and warmongering.

So a word of advice. Don’t label yourself a “Real American.” No American citizen is any more real than any other American citizen, though some are more evil than others.
