The Trumpling of America, Reprise 2

At the Bangor Daily News, William J. Murphy is less than sanguine.

And, yes, it can happen here.

I suspect Donald Trump’s not much of a reader so he probably missed any history on Lindbergh or, more recently, “The Plot Against America.” Dumb coincidence, stumbling into things, and his good fortune to come along at just the most propitious time seem to have more to do with it.

Plus you have to give the other side the potential for credit. He’ll be going up against someone almost custom-made for his style.

    Heh.

Trump is a pitchman. The thing is, though, there’s no coherence in what he’s pitching. (Well, he is pitching himself, and himself is incoherence personified.)

At least, when Billy Mays did it, you knew what you were getting for $19.99 plus S&H.

Some sites that I link to may try to track you, but that's between you and them, not you and me.

I do collect statistics, but I use a simple stand-alone Wordpress plugin, not third-party services such as Google Analitics over which I have no control.

Finally, this is website is a hobby. It's a hobby in which I am deeply invested, about which I care deeply, and which has enabled me to learn a lot about computers and computing, but it is still ultimately an avocation, not a vocation; it is certainly not a money-making enterprise (unless you click the "Donate" button--go ahead, you can be the first!).
