Fearful of catching the coronavirus, a 75-year-old man pointed a handgun at two women wearing (medical–ed.) face masks and gloves during an encounter at a post office in Georgia, police charge.

The women, who were not hurt during the incident, told police that they were “wearing medical masks and gloves when they entered the post office” in Alpharetta, a city 25 miles north of Atlanta. Upon walking into the post office, they were immediately met by the gun-toting Taratoot, police say.

The woman had advised (the sheriff’s office–ed.) that someone may have been heard outside their home and went outside to check armed with rifles.

According to the caller, after inspecting the property they were headed back to the house when she stumbled and accidentally shot her brother in the shoulder.

A man told detectives he was arming himself for protection amidst the COVID-19 scare when he accidentally shot his 13-year-old cousin, killing him, Thursday afternoon in an East Central neighborhood, according to the Albuquerque Police Department.

The story goes on to report that he didn’t think the shotgun was loaded.

Officers learned Robert Villarreal, 23, of 3230 Midvale Drive, was setting down the 9mm handgun when it discharged. The bullet struck him in the leg above the knee and then struck his 27-year-old girlfriend in the upper thigh, said Lt. Charles Aagaard of Janesville police investigations bureau.

On Sunday, March 15, around 7:00 PM, Lawrenceburg Police Department responded to the Tuscany Bay Apartments on the 500 block of River Dr. for a call regarding gun shots.

The caller reported that she believed someone had fired a gun when a bullet came through the wall of her apartment. At the time of the incident, the caller’s boyfriend and her 4-year-old child were inside the apartment.

The report stated the unidentied man, who has a concealed-carry permit, had been trying to take the gun out of the holster to put away before going into the restaurant when the gun went off. It did not disclose where the wound was located.

Make the scene with politeness.

During the investigation, detectives learned Wingler was handling a loaded handgun in his living room with his son nearby. Wingler accidentally fired the gun. A bullet went through his leg and into his son’s leg.

After the shooting, police say surveillance footage from the home showed Wingler altering the scene instead of helping his son.

The report goes on to say parent has been charged with at least two counts.

Another responsible gun owner greets the neighbors.

Plymouth police said 11-month-old Noah Amori was grazed in the foot from a bullet that was discharged by a next-door neighbor on Sunday morning around 11 a.m. They said the gun owner was trying to put a lock on his gun when the trigger was accidentally pulled.

The bullet went right through the shared wall of the Forest Avenue condo building and hit the toddler’s foot. The bullet also hit a mattress that Noah’s older brother had slept on the night before.

Police say a 2-year-old child got a hold of a gun and shot his 4-year-old brother in the abdomen.

The extent of the 4-year-old’s injuries are unknown, but he was taken to a Springfield hospital for treatment. Police said the mother was home when he was shot.

The dead eagle was found on County Road 220, north of Cherry Valley (Arkansas–ed.). The eagle was initially examined by veterinary staff at Cross County Veterinary Clinic in Wynne, where the preliminary cause of death was determined to be a gunshot wound. The eagle will be transferred to a wildlife forensics laboratory for additional testing.
