Be polite to your life partner.

As deputies investigated further, they said the shooting was sparked by a domestic violence issue between Morin and her boyfriend. Morin reportedly shot the victim because he was snoring too loudly. Both parties had been drinking and got into an argument prior to the shooting, according to a press release.

Politeness in the time of Trump:

WSB reports that Banks was Facetiming with his girlfriend when he knocked on the wrong door.

He then walked away and was confronted by 32-year-old Darryl Bynes out on the balcony.

Police said not long after, he shot the teen.

“I heard him say, ‘Sorry, I’m at the wrong house.’ Then the man said, ‘No you’re not. N****, you at the right house.’ And he shot two more times,” Banks’ girlfriend told WSB in an interview.

WSB reports that Bynes initially claimed he shot Banks in self-defense, but officers said he shot the teen from his balcony as Banks was coming down the stairs and trying to get away.

Once again, politeness becomes child’s play.

Anthony Wilson, a witness at the scene who said he was the brother of the man living in the home, said that the shooting was accidental. Wilson said the child found the gun under a bed, played with the weapon and shot himself. “Everybody was in the living room. The little boy went into the back of the room, crawled under his bed, and then we heard the gun go off.”

Be polite when seeking entertainment at your local cineplex.

Police were called to the theater at 6 p.m. Sunday, and found a male with a single gunshot wound, said a release. The wound was not life threatening, officials said.

(snip)

The shooting was the result of an argument over seating in the theater, and was not considered an “active shooter situation,” said a statement issued by police.

Introduce children to politeness at a tender age.

Deputies were called to the 3100 block of Cricket Road just after 7 p.m., according to a statement released Sunday by the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office. They found the infant with a gunshot wound, it said.

The infant was pronounced dead after being taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, the statement said.

This sacrifice on the NRA’s altar of ammo was 21 days old.

I’ll stop now, because all I have left is profanity.

Republican Elephant speaks: Yes, New Zealand has now banned assault rifles, but Americans have different priorities. An extreme interpretation of the 2nd Amendment. we are willing to take a bullet for that. In fact, a nonstop spray of bullets mowing down our fiends and children, over and over forever. Crazy New Zealanders.

Hoist a drink to politeness.

A man died Friday evening after being accidentally shot in the leg by a handgun that was passed around over drinks, police say.

The report goes on to say that “the gun went off,” implying that it fired itself all on its ownsome.

Speaking all on my ownsome, I’ve not yet met a gun that pulled its own damn trigger.

“Negligent” =/ “Accidental.”

Aside:

It would be quite refreshing were news media to stop treating gun nut negligence as some aspect of inadvertence.

Stray politeness.

A 2-year-old Tennessee girl — described by relatives as “spunky” and “sassy” — is fighting for her life after being hit in the head by a stray bullet while playing on a backyard slide, authorities said.

The NRA will likely argue that, had she been packing, this would not have happened.

If you are so unfortunate as to be involved in a vehicular incident, it is essential that you comport yourself most courteously.

The incident occurred on the evening of March 15 when a truck being driven by Olsen collided with the bumper of another car while traveling on Tope Road. After both cars pulled off the road, several minutes passed before Olsen left the scene in his truck, according to Investigator Bobby Crowdis with the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office.

The victim was able to follow Olsen and get his tag number, but was forced to stop when Olsen parked his truck and blocked both lanes of Hwy. 54 just outside Luthersville. Olsen then got out of his truck and began firing around 20 shots from his AR-15 in the direction of the victim, Crowdis said.

Politeness is child’s play. Again.

Two brothers were playing with a shotgun, believing it wasn’t loaded, according to Sgt. Melody Gray with Unified Police Department.

(snip)

“Our 16-year-old victim had that gun in his hand and pointed the gun at himself and unfortunately shot himself and he is deceased,” Gray said. The other brother involved was 17.

My Daddy taught me that always to assume a gun was loaded unless I verified for myself that it wasn’t. He always stored his .22 with the bolt open so you knew the chamber was empty. And he taught me that guns are not toys.

Polite politicos:

A top aide to a Missouri state senator was arrested after a loaded gun fell to the floor during a fight at a Jefferson City bar, according to Cole County authorities.

Jared Brown, of Malden, was booked into jail after police were called to the Spectator’s Bar and Grill early last Thursday. Brown, who is chief of staff for Republican Sen. Justin Brown, had not been officially charged as of Wednesday. The two are not related.

A police report said a 9mm pistol loaded with five rounds fell to the floor. It was recovered by another bar patron and Jared Brown, 45, was arrested, The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.
