Show politeness on the boulevards.

Houston resident Kay Hafford, 28, was driving to work Friday when a driver cut her off. Hafford honked her horn, and that’s when the driver of a white SUV reportedly pulled up next to her and shot Hafford in the head and drove off.

Accidental politeness is the politest kind.

Investigators believe the girl, who suffered a graze wound to her forehead, accidentally fired the weapon herself about 4:30 p.m. in the 6000 block of Charles Street.

The carnage ain’t gonna end, is it? not so long as the NRA and its ammosexuals hold sway over the legislative process.

Demonstrate politeness to your friends.

. . . the 57-year-old man had been drinking alcohol and was with friends. The man was showing his friends the gun when he took the magazine out of the gun and held the weapon up to his neck and pulled the trigger. The man apparently did not realize there was a bullet in the chamber, and the incident is being treated as an accidental shooting.

Stolen politeness.

An average Friday afternoon spent between two friends ended tragically when Anthony Munoz said he witnessed his friend’s death.

(snip)

Anthony said he did not know where the handgun came from but he was “surprised” to see his friend in possession of a weapon. He said Israel did not tell him where the gun came from.

The juveniles involved in the gun’s theft have been identified by police and will potentially face criminal charges, the press release stated.

Politeness is essential to parenting.

Pizzolato went into the basement to secure two pistols into a safe and after checking one of the pistols believing (sic) it to be empty, he pulled the trigger and the pistol fired one round, police say.

The round traveled through a wall into a finished family room and struck his 10-year-old son in the face.

This is the ultimate confluence of gunnuttery and stupid: he is incapable of discerning whether the gun is loaded.

Politeness seals relationships.

A Shelton-area man is under arrest after his wife was shot dead in their home on Monday, Mason County sheriff’s officials said.

The man, later identified as Gary Crandell, 67, called 911 just before 5 p.m. and told dispatchers he was cleaning his gun at his home in the 100 block of SE Evan Boulevard when it accidentally went off and hit his wife, deputies said.

This one is certainly sealed.

Play politely.

Initial reports indicate that two teenagers where playing around with a gun when one of them accidentally shot the other.

Aside:

At least this gun does not seem to have fired itself.

How do the polite splet “stupid”?

They splet it “n-e-g-l-i-g-e-n-t.”

A Shelburne man was shot Friday in a mishap at a Charlotte gun range, the Vermont State Police say.

Joshua Scarfone, 19, was target shooting at theLaberge Gun Range off of Lime Kiln Road in Charlotte on Friday afternoon when JoshuaRamstrom, 20, of Hinesburg experienced “a negligent discharge,” Trooper Angela Baker said in a statement.

“Negligent discharge” my anatomy.

It was s-t-u-p-i-d.

Settle disputes with your neighbors, politely.

Just before 11 a.m., Steven Outlaw confronted Pitts-Devine inside the first-floor stairwell of their apartment building on Spruce Street near 45th in Spruce Hill, a normally quiet section of West Philly.

An argument broke out, and it quickly got heated: Outlaw, 53, pulled out the gun and fired at point-blank range, hitting Pitts-Devine eight times in the torso, the sources said.

He then calmly walked upstairs to his second-floor apartment, closed the door and shot himself in the head. He died about an hour later at Penn Presbyterian, according to police.

Sources say Outlaw had no criminal record, and had a permit for the gun he used in the vicious attack.

According to the story, Mr. Outlaw also had a history of making paranoiac claims about his neighbor’s actions.

NRA paradise approacheth apace.

It’s in the bag . . .

Franklin County Sheriff’s Office officials say a woman was shot in both legs and her boyfriend shot through his hand after her gun went off in her purse Saturday afternoon.

Lt. Phillip Young said the woman’s Glock went off while the couple sat in a vehicle outside a residence in the 1400 block of Virgil H. Goode Highway in Bassett about 3:30 p.m. The man, who was in the driver’s seat, put a drink can in the woman’s purse before putting his hand on her leg.

. . . and another gun that fires itself. I swear that we have reached the gunularity.

Play with politeness:

Later, when investigators spoke with the girl in the hospital, she told them that her boyfriend was “playing” with the handgun when it went off accidentally, Sommer said.

Police found the boy with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to his head, lying on the ground amid a cluster of trees in an area between the apartment complex and nearby Northwest Passage Alternative High School. A handgun was nearby.

Politeness must be demonstrated.

A 14-year-old boy is in critical condition after he was shot while his 17-year-old uncle was demonstrating how to disassemble a pistol, Tulsa police said.

“Unfortunately he didn’t unload the handgun before the demonstration, [and] it discharged,” TPD Sgt. James Peters said.

Where Is “Stupid” a Defense? 0

A. In Florida. Where else?

It enabled the fellow who shot a pregnant lady while playing pretend Wyatt Earp to get off without prosecution.

Get out of Jail

“An accidental discharge of a firearm causing death, even if the result of gross negligence cannot be prosecuted criminally,” King wrote. “Just as it is my duty to prosecute those who violate the law, it is equally my duty to refrain from prosecuting those whose conduct, no matter how outrageous, does not constitute a crime. This is such a case.”

According to Florida Assistant State Attorney Pete Magrino, in order to rise to the level of a crime in Florida, an unintentional shooting must meet the standard of “culpable negligence.” In his decline-to-charge memo, Magrino describes culpable negligence as “showing reckless disregard for human life.”

Had DeHayes pulled the trigger of his gun intentionally, for example, thinking the firearm was unloaded, and it went off, or had he been drunk or under the influence of drugs when the shooting occurred, that would have been a crime. But, as Magrino’s colleague Chief Assistant State Attorney Ric Ridgway told 48 Hours’ Crimesider, “If you’re just being careless with a gun and it goes off,* that’s not a crime.”

The moral of the story is, in Florida, stay sober and make it look like an accident.

Practice random acts of politeness.

A newlywed taking photos of his first snowfall was killed in an apparent random shooting in Dallas Thursday, less than a month after he moved to the United States from Iraq, police and family said.

(snip)

Witnesses told police that a group of men was randomly firing a gun near the 9900 block of Walnut Street at about 12:30 a.m. Thursday when 36-year-old Ahmed Al-Jumaili was shot.

More guns will no doubt prevent incidents of this nature in the future.

There’s nothing like a little politeness to end an argument.

According to the police report, Schmidt had been drinking for several hours before returning home, consuming more alcohol and arguing with his girlfriend at their Coon Prairie residence. At approximately 1 a.m., the female party departed to go to the restroom, when she heard a gunshot. She returned to find Schmidt laying on the floor bleeding from his head.

Schmidt told law enforcement that the shooting was not intentional and that the loaded handgun had accidentally discharged striking him in the head.

And yet another gun that seems to have fired itself . . . .

. . . and yet another gun nut too stupid to unload a gun when preparing to clean it.

Relatives say the youngster, named Hayden, loved to play cops and robbers with his little brother and told local news station KHOUthat they fear the boys may have thought the weapon was a toy.
