Never joke with the polite.

Martin’s boyfriend asked Orsborn to “just chill” after he said something that upset her.

At some point, Martin “jokingly slapped the defendant across the face,” the Clay County Sheriff’s Office said. Witnesses said that Orsborn took the gun out of his shorts pocket and shot Martin in the forehead.

When everyone is packing, incidents such as this will, no doubt, cease.

Politeness starts at home.

Guns + stupid = polite.

A man accused of firing a bullet that broke a neighbor’s window says he fired the gun because he knew of no other way to unload it, police said.

After the shooting on Friday afternoon in Middletown, Bucks County, George Byrd IV first denied knowledge of the shooting to a detective, then admitted he fired the weapon to clear the chamber because he was unfamiliar with guns, police said.

The hunt for politeness:

District Attorney Pat Dougherty said the infant’s father had been sitting on a couch holding the infant when the bullet tore through the window of the home.

Dougherty said the bullet is believed to have come from hunters on private property across the street. He said they had permission to be there.

The DA is calling it accidental because of course hunters are allowed to blaze away at anything without knowing what’s there.

Politeness is a family thing . . .

When emergency officials arrived, Marshall EMT found a woman in a bedroom with a gunshot wound through her stomach and side. Her husband, Larry Watkins, said he was placing a loaded 7.65 MM rifle in the gun case and it fired one time. The bullet allegedly struck his wife, who was standing in the closet.

. . . and another gun that fires itself.

More polite parenting:

The sheriff calls it a sad and tragic day.

“There was a couple loaded rifles in the car, and one discharged fatally shooting a 12-year-old girl in the backseat,” explained Chippewa County Sheriff Robert Savoie.

Even worse, he says this could have been prevented

“Obviously here, gun safety is extremely important this time of year. We have issues here. There’s a loaded gun not pointed in a safe direction, and the safety wasn’t activated.”

More persons too stupid to have guns.

I have a Google alert set up for various aspects of gunnuttery. It’s my only Google alert, because, I guess, I collect stupid.

It was quiet over the weekend, but today it has delivered almost a dozen messages. This is the latest. Some nutcase killed his daughter and all of his grandchildren.

It’s not going to end, is it, not so long as the NRA can marshal its legions who worship their artificial penises?
