We Went to a Garden Party . . . . 0

The weather yesterday was not too hot and humid, so we went to Norfolk’s Gardens by the Sea, specifically to visit the Butterfly House. Here are a few pictures. (Species were identified with the help of The Butterflies and Moths of North America website.)

LanternAsia v. 2, Part Four 1

Editor’s Note: These pictures were taken with a Fuji FinePix S3200 and edited in the free and open source Gnu Image Manipulation Program, commonly referred to as “the GIMP,” which is available for Linux, MacOS, and Windows. My benchmark in editing the images was a simple one: Does the blue of the sky and the green of the leaves look like it did when we were there?

I anticipate at least two more posts in this series, perhaps three. See the rest of the posts in this series: Part One. Part Two. Part Three. Part Five. “>Part Six.

LanternAsia v. 2, Part One 5

LanternAsia returned to the Norfolk Botanical Garden this spring and we finally got a chance to visit it. It was here two years ago. This time, it was mostly new exhibits; only three of the exhibits from 2016 were repeated.

See the rest of the posts in this series: Part Two. Part Three. Part Four. Part Five. Part Six.

Here are some of the pictures I took. More will follow.

Jammin’ 0

The one cat is fascinated by the printer (the other cat doesn’t give a damn, but he loves him his grocery bags). Whenever printing is going on, she’s there.

Cat watching printer output.

Shortly after this picture was taken, she stepped on the output tray so as to read the output or whatever the heck she thought she was going to do and caused a paper jam.
