I read about this column and couldn’t figure out to deal with someone who is living so far in the past (kind of like those folks who characterize political opponents as “Commies”).

    This is Ward, Co, where all the flower children still live & breathe. We went there, & it was looking like the old pictures of the Ashbury/Haight area that I remember seeing as a kid. This is probably where the writer of the article came from.

    BTW, both the 1st & 3rd links go to the same story.
